Who We Are
Eddy May, the founder of NRG Solar based in South Australia, and Rob Manson, the founder of I Want Energy in Tasmania, recognized the growing demand for renewable energy solutions in Fiji and shared a common vision of providing high-quality solar and battery storage installations to the region.
They believed that combining their expertise and resources could make a significant impact on Fiji's transition to clean and sustainable energy. After visiting Fiji and talking to many locals, they soon realized that their companies' complementary strengths and experiences could create a formidable force in the renewable energy sector.
After several discussions and extensive planning, Eddy and Rob decided to form a partnership and co-founded Island Solar Fiji. Leveraging NRG Solar's vast experience with battery storage installations and I Want Energy's expertise in residential and commercial solar systems in both Australia and PNG, the new venture aimed to offer a comprehensive range of solar solutions tailored to Fiji's unique energy needs.
